QS MEP

Perform and/or support in engineering team including all QS activities, tendering.

 Taking off quantity, pricing and submission of tenders for MEP Project.

 Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer.

 Have Experience in Quantity surveyor for MEP project.

 Introduce subcontractors/ suppliers to procurement team.

 Prepare BOQ and tender document/ proposal.

 Attend tender’s clarification, analysis and negotiation.

 Prepare tender reports and award recommendation.

 During the project construction time, support Project Manager to control the

construction expense and if client asks for additional works, completing BOQ for

additional works and sending to Project Manager for checking.

 Before preparing BOQ, having site survey to understand all items, check material

inventory with suppliers to avoid of material lack or change, must understand the

scope of work as well as the market price.

 Checking handover quantities and final account of client/ sub-contractor/ supplier.

 Perform budget cost planning, interim forecast, monitor and control project cost.

 Any other may be assigned by the supervisor / management from time to time.

• Education:
•  Degree or related professional certificate / diploma.
• Working Experience:
•  At least 7 years of working experience.
• Technical & Professional Knowledge:
•  A practical and logical mind and a methodical way of thinking.
•  A creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
•  Strong numeracy and financial management skills and the ability to learn
• sophisticated design and costing IT packages.
•  The ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in
• a simple way to a diverse range of people.
•  Negotiation and team work skills and the ability to motivate and lead those on site.
•  Detailed knowledge of past and current building and construction technology,
• processes, materials, business and legal matters.
• Special Requirements:
•  Good in English proficiency; Chinese speaking is a plus
•  Must be able to read and understand drawing and specification.
•  Basic knowledge in work programming, able to interpret project schedule.
•  Good computer skills Microsoft Offices – EXCEL, WORDS and PowerPoint.
• Experience and skills in Microsoft Projects / Primavera will be added advantage.
•  Good interpersonal skills, team player, independent and hardworking.
•  Willing to travel and relocate for outstation projects.
